This one speaks for itself

Hiking through the carved rocks that lead to Hyaku-Shaku Kannon

Daibutsu means "big buddha" and this one is 101 feet, or 31 meters, tall. It's located at the top of Mount Nokogiri

The Goddess of Mercy carved into the side of Mt. Nokogiri is about 100ft (or about 30 meters) tall. It was carved in remembrance of the fallen soldiers of WWII.

Came across this rice patty walking along the country roads to get to the tiny Chiba train station. I couldn't help but snap a pic, the area was so serene.
